Divine Liturgy in English: The Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos

All are welcome to join us for the Divine Liturgy in English as we commemorate the Dormition (Assumption) of the Most Holy Theotokos on the evening of Thursday 14th August. The Divine Liturgy will begin at 6pm at Sacred Heart Church, 112 Horseferry Road, Westminster, SWP1 2EF, and will be followed by a breaking of the fast at a local pub.

Holy Communion is open to all baptized Catholics properly disposed and is administered in both forms via an individual spoon for each communicant. Antidoron (blessed bread) will be available for all at the end of the Divine Liturgy.

This Divine Liturgy fulfils holy days of obligation for Latin Catholics as per Canon 1248 §1.
