There have been the deaths of many Eastern Patriarchs this year, and at the time of going to press we
have heard of the death of His Beatitude Ignatios IV (1920-2012), Byzantine Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All The East, on December 5th 2012, at St. George`s Orthodox Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon, after having suffered a stroke earlier in the week. His Beatitude was 92. May Kyr Ignatios’ Memory be Eternal.
