On June 26, 2014 the Bishops’ Council of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church met in a session in Kyiv. The meeting was chaired by Primate of the UAOC Methodius (Kudriakov), Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine. The participants adopted a number of formal appeals to the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, clergymen and laymen of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, and to the Primate of the UOC-MP.
The Council also decided to resume the Committee for the dialogue to prepare integration into a unified national church.
