On Wednesday 4th September, at 4 pm, Cardinal Sandri (Prefect of the Congregation for the Eastern Catholic Churches) will visit the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Family, Duke Street, London W1, for a Prayer Service for peace in the Middle East.
The Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy warmly invites all those concerned for peace in the Middle East to join them. Represented will be Melkite Greek Catholic Church in London, the Chaldean Catholic Church and other Eastern Catholic communities in London, as well as the members of the Society of St John Chrysostom, Aid to the Church in Need, and other Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox and Anglican representatives and friends.
The Moleben takes place in the midst of Aid to the Church in Need’s Week of Prayer for Peace in Syria too. If you cannot be there, please be united in prayer at 4pm (British Summer Time) on 4th September.
